Relay For Life
...was fantastic. Our team, Connolly Tacon & Meserve, finished in first place in overall fundraising with $22,642 - an increase of $200 over our total from last year as a first year team! The overall event was down from last year - which is not surprising among nonprofits in this economy. Inspired by a decision by the 'mother of Relay', Pat Flynn, to power through in a year that's hurting nonprofits in a significant way, we're hoping to extend our fundraising to $25,000 over the next few weeks. Though the economy may slow down, we hope there will be no slowdown in research and support for those with cancer. We're 91% of the way there! Miss Lindsay Milasich...now Mrs. Lindsay Brown
Lindsay and Bill married this weekend at Our Lady of Guadalupe...yea! Though I don't have her sneak peek ready, I just wanted to show you how beautiful she looked. Isn't she glowing? And the colors were incredible...as you can see from her bouquet. So happy for my friend and her new husband...I love you two!
