...was our first date.
to spiro's in gig harbor, my all-time favorite restaurant. we got in a coloring contest and it continued for several hours (not that we're competitive or anything). and that night, i went to bed annoyed because he didn't kiss me goodnight. but it led to five more dates over the next six days - and meeting his family and my family on the last two days. and the "meet the prince" post that came a bit later.
it's still hard to believe that one year later, we are married. and live on a farm. with dirt. lots of dirt.
never really was a dirt girl.
but i wouldn't trade anything in the world for it.
i love you, doc!

If there was a story that screamed "Meant to be" more than your, I wouldn't believe it. What a joy it is to see you find one another. I can't believe it's only been a year. Wow!
Enjoy the dirt.
WOW. I can't believe it's been a year. It's been fun to watch you both grow in this relationship and to watch you love and be loved. Wishing you many, many more years of blessings and joy and love and surprises and dirt and trees and all good things. Happy anniversary!
