Jonathan, who is vying for Best Husband 2011, called to tell me he was picking up steaks and twice-baked potatoes at Western Meats so I didn't have to cook. Which is awesome, since I am exhausted. We have had a great deal of rain in the last few days, so we've been a bit stir crazy. I finally decided to rock the curly hair a few days ago after one such rainstorm killed the flatironed hair.
Anyway...back to the farm.
Not two minutes later, I look outside and find this:

So he played. I laughed. I did my best to curtail his puddle water shots that he was attempting, and just let him be a two year old boy in the mud.
I found his reaction to Papa's arrival at home absolutely hilarious.

Let me show you my mud skills, Papa. I am the Master Muddenator.

All smiles until it was time to de-mudify.
"Am I in trouble?"

"No, sweetpea. But you are getting hosed down. Offer it up!"
