Say what?

One of the funniest parts of Thomas's ever expanding vocabulary is what he chooses to retain.
Seriously.

No, seriously, that is one of the words he uses quite often, and usually from the backseat.

One of the worst ways that I was outed as a vocal driver was when Jonathan, Thomas and I were headed to Gig Harbor.  The merging to 16 from 5 has changed pretty dramatically in the last few months, and infrequent drivers still think they need to merge as soon as they are on 16.  So they slow down.  And drive everyone else's blood pressure up.  Did I say 'everyone'?  I meant MY blood pressure.

So as Jonathan and I both groaned that the entire line of merging cars was now slowing down, we hear a clear voice from the backseat.

"GO GO GO!"

Jonathan started laughing and asked, "I wonder where he learned that.  Who has the road rage in our family?"

"Mommy."

Again, from the backseat.

Among his words right now:

• Bath.
• Bone.
• Bubbles. 
• Bye bye.
• Cat. 
• Cookie. 
• Daddy.
• Doggy.
• Done with phone?  Right before he takes it from you.
• Down.
• Elmo.  Said both at the TV and at his diapers, since they have Elmo printed on them
• Excuse.  Short for excuse me.  Also now said when not only he burps or toots, but when you burp and don’t excuse yourself.
• Fork.
• Go.
• Hi.
• Horse.
• Jesus.
• Milk.
• Mommy.
• Night night.
• No.  Right now, he also says a super annoying form of it:  MOW.  It's his whiny response when he doesn't want to do something you're asking of him.  Makes you want to tear your hair out.
• Out.
• Papa.  
• Phone.
• Poopy. 
• Please.
• Remote.
• Seriously.  I evidently say this just before I get mad.  I may repeat it too.
• Snow.
• Sorry.
• Un-coo.  This applies to Jerry and Kevin.  If he wants to play outside, it's because Un-coo Jerry is out there.  If he wants to get up from his nap, it's because Un-coo Kevin will save him.
