This is one of those stories that just makes your heart happy.
If you're local to the northwest, you may have heard of Ike Ditzenberger. He's a junior from Snohomish High School, who has Downs Syndrome. And who scored a 51 yard touchdown against Lake Stevens. An awesome display of sportsmanship by both teams. It will make your heart happy too.
When we watched the clip on King 5, everyone was in tears. The original video on YouTube has more than 2.4 million hits -- and King5 did a great piece on him as well.
A few weeks ago, they showed the clip at the Seahawks game, during the 2 minute warning during the second quarter. And then the Seahawks presented Ike with a 12th man jersey. Isn't this the best photo from the Seattle Times?
