On Saturday, we got home from Lake Chelan and crashed for a bit before heading down to the SE Thurston Relay For Life, right here in Rainier. Check out Kathleen in the Survivor lap. Not only is she one of the fire commissioners with Jonathan in the brand-new, official-as-of-July-1 SE Thurston Fire Authority, she's an awesome survivor whom the Skis hold close to our heart. She's on the back of our team tee this year. :)
We've been out of town the past two years during the SE Thurston event, so we loved being able to see it in person! Janell, our staff partner in Thurston, also staffs this event as well.

My FAVORITE decorated tent site of the year so far...check out this Shrek-themed tent site, complete with a 10 ft tall hand painted Shrek! They want to "send cancer far far away"...Key Bank knocked it out of the park!
