overheard in a conversation between mother and daughter...

"did you two have fun this weekend in leavenworth?"

"yes, oh yes! we did."

at this point, daughter is thinking: this is a dangerous path. i don't really want to know what my mom means by that. only g-rated conversations with the family. change the subject! quickly!

the mother continues..."i am so lucky - i can spend all weekend with a man i have loved for thirty-six years and have fun the entire time...how many women can say that?"
