the sisters

the fabulous larson girls joined us from the midwest, near the end of their pacific northwest road trip. famous for their laugh and sense of humor, it was the first time in over 25 years that they'd been out to visit us at the same time.

they are the cousins of my papa - and dad left for alaska on thursday morning. they arrived thursday evening. they fly out sunday morning, and dad flies home sunday night. :) so the rest of the fam showed them a good time.

spent friday evening at the blue olive and chopstix, and out on the sound all day today. took in the sights of the new bridge from underneath. as we're almost under the next bridge decks, you hear, "those decks don't look attached. i hope they don't come down."

i started picturing the bridge decks crashing down on us, and what setting i'd need on the camera to capture it.

finished with a crab bake back at the house, where jody cleaned us out of the last dungeness.

so good to see them.

and because i love love love sunsets...
