- My friends. My BlackBerry kept lighting up today with happy turkey wishes and lots of love...and I am so blessed by them. As Walt Whitman said, "I no doubt deserved my enemies, but I don't believe I deserved my friends."
- My faith. I can't imagine my life without it. I love the fact that JC gave us the gift of the Church when he "poped" Peter and started the papal succession...and being part of the community served by Papa Ratzi and headed by the Lord...humbles me.
- Renee Pearson. She wrote the uber-best book on Digital Scrapbooking that I've been reading the past few days. And she is partially responsible for the return of my scrapping mojo. Love it!!
- That I don't have leprosy. Seriously, that's the reading in Mass every year on Thanksgiving - about lepers. And yes, I'm grateful that I don't have it. Mom is too, she told me afterwards.
- Mother Angelica. She rocks. She inspires me with her devotion, especially in times of struggle, and her sarcastic wit. I have loved DVRing her old shows...it's something when an 80 year old nun makes you laugh to the point that you may need Depends.
And how cool is it that the website for her order has online games with photos of the abbey?
