Overheard

We use the DVR pretty liberally so we don't have to stay up for anything.   We both have our quirks as to what we record. 

Jonathan's current quirk?

The PGA Tour.

After we finished Modern Family tonight (one of my guilty pleasures -- and this week's episode was FULL of awesome awkward, hilarious family moments), Jonathan flipped on the PGA Sony Open as we all cuddled on the couch.

Davis hits a long drive.

Thomas immediately starts cheering and yelling and fist pumping:  "Whooooo!  Wow!  Wow! Wow!"

The crowd hushes and watches the putt. 

Thomas drops his voice,  "Ooooooohhhhh."

Jonathan says, "And THAT is why I tape this."

Lots of pointing ensues from the Wee Ski.  Further analysis from papa and son takes place.  The Wee Ski chooses not to cheer for Ryan Palmer.  No comment as to why.

And I realize we all survived this sicky sick, up since 3 am day, capping it off with a little taped golf.  Very grateful.

Praying we all sleep through a very uneventful night!
