The Wee Cornaholic

I was making dinner tonight, only to turn around and find Thomas halfway through a raw ear of corn...right off the cob.

He'd pulled his chair into the kitchen, pulled a freshly shucked ear of corn off the counter, and sat down to eat it like a big boy.

For dinner, we had Rosemary Chicken with an orange/maple glaze, stuffing, and corn on the cob.  The perfect balance of comfort food that's mostly good for you.  :)

It's been a long week for both of us -- I've had 4 shoots in the past 7 days (welcome to pre-Christmas season!) and we've had things going on morning, noon and night.  When we got home from the shoot today (with the winners of the 2010 Shoot to Fight Cancer), both Jonathan and Thomas crashed for long naps.  I worked for a few hours and took a nap as well.  If only it had been pouring rain, it would have felt like the perfect fall afternoon.

Lots of photo goodness to come -- I have nearly a dozen projects to blog for Finian Road -- my goal is to get half of them up this week.

And also wanting to get back into the habit of shooting my own family again, so I'm hoping to blog each day with some good stuff from the Skis.   Now that I'm caught up...I'm 3 for 3 for October.  :)  Wish me luck!
