Taken tonight, at the Relay in Tacoma.
At times it's still surreal that we no longer Relay together on the same team, or at the same event. These five have had such an incredible impact on my experience over the years -- co-captaining with Debbie (with our key phrase, "but we're not competitive or anything..."), Cindy Wolf Wolf (the creative spark), Anthony (the engineer & designer's mind, especially for our award winning tent site from a few years back), Jane (their mama and now a cancer survivor), and Kathie (the special effect superstar).
I love seeing them all together: celebrating, remembering and fighting back.
You are an incredible blessing to me and my family. I love you.
