Quick Takes • The Saturday Edition

In no particular order...

1. Had an awesome Tree Shindig today.
   Loved seeing everyone - a great mix of old faces + new. Bitter cold though today (2007 = snow, 2008 = 60° + sunshine) so we filled up the house and let the kids run outside. Photos from past years here (2008) and here (2007). Photos will be up soon on Finian Road from this year as well!
2. Thomas loved seeing his swimming buddies today.
   Mason, Nigel and big brother Owen, came out with their parents today to the tree shindig. So fun seeing them outside of the pool! We all gathered in front of the infamous fire truck in the front yard above. :)
3. Had a great time tonight at Jonathan's law firm's holiday party.
   Thomas met Santa for the first time. He was a little in shock, most likely because they were wearing matching outfits. Santa brought him a great little car & driver set, which he played with at the table and is now nestled in with his toys in the living room. Jonathan's firm is so family friendly - not only is the dinner at Indian Summer open to the whole family, but all the kids under 18 had a special gift given by Santa to each one of them. Santa's elves at Connolly Tacon & Meserve did a great job with the gifts!
4. I am addicted to chocolate covered graham crackers and candy cane hershey's kisses.
5. A big week ahead.
   A shoot tomorrow and working on the tree farm. Relay For Life meetings in Seattle from Monday - Wednesday. Dad's birthday on Thursday, family dinner on Friday, and more shoots + working on the tree farm next weekend.
6. Was in Twitter heaven the other day.
   Cathy Zielske, former contributing editor for Simple Scrapbooks magazine and fabulous designer for Designer Digitals, tweeted about my Advent Album. I was bouncing off the walls afterwards.

7. Our Christmas cards arrived the other night.
   I love them so much that I took one to bed that night so I could read it every time I woke up in the middle of the night. I know, I am a nerd. But they are beautiful!
