Seems like just yesterday that we were throwing his surprise 60th birthday party - flying his childhood best friend and his brother in from the midwest to join in with the crowd at the festivities.
It's been so much fun to share him with the grandkids this year -- balancing sweet Avila on one knee and little bruiser Thomas on the other. They both adore him.
We all met at Spiro's tonight in Gig Harbor for dinner to celebrate. First time with both kids in high chairs at the end of the table - they split their own pita pizza. Ahh, passing on family traditions. :)
Hope you had a great night, Dad, with two of the world's cutest and messiest kids around. :)

I love this shot of his dimple. It's the clearest I can ever remember seeing it. It's only there when he smiles. :)
I really ♥ this shot of Avila and Thomas. She is such a good older cousin to him...watching out for him and showing him all around. "Tommy! Tommy look here!" She's talking to him about something outside, and he's just entranced by her. I love it.
