Prayers, please

...for Jonathan's family and extended family.

Jonathan has a "Hawaiian side" of the fam, among whom the one of the littlest Hawaiians was our flower girl in our wedding. The generation of Jonathan's first cousins have had a particularly difficult weekend...and could really use your prayers.

In the last few years, both their mom, Audrey, and their dad, Bill (who is Jonathan's uncle, and is married to Jonathan's dad's sister, Nancy, who live out here on the farm) were diagnosed with cancer.

Audrey lost her battle to cancer last Saturday.

Within 48 hours, Uncle Bill passed away from his cancer as well.

Understandably, this weekend was difficult for all in the family, including their kids, grandchildren, great grandchildren, Bill's wife Nancy and their extended family.

Please pray for the repose of their souls, as well as for comfort for their families as life continues on.

Jonathan and I lit a luminaria for each of them at the Relay For Life in Thurston County this year in June...and took to the track in celebration of their battle against cancer.

And we have two more reasons to continue to fight back...as we remember them in this upcoming year.
