Take me out to the ballgame

We hit the Mariners game on Tuesday night, in celebration of Jonathan's birthday. Our first night with our season tickets from the CTM draft, and I love them.

It was unbelievably cold (especially considering it snowed on Opening Day!) so the roof was closed a few innings into the game. I surprised Jonathan with a birthday wish for him on the scoreboard...one of the rare times I'll acknowledge in public that he (not I) is the ultimate champion.

The game was fabulous - even though JJ Putz gave up a two-run homer in the ninth and the M's marked their first loss of the year. Can't wait to see what's ahead!

Meet Francesca, Noah's girlfriend.

They met the same way that Jonathan and I did...and they are so much fun together. She is definitely the yin to his yang, and I loved the fact that she's in med school studying to be a pediatric oncologist - and has been published for her research, while working for an American Cancer Society funded researcher! Jonathan and I definitely gave the seal of approval. :)

In the quest of shooting more of my own life again...here's our first Mariners self-portrait of the year! :)
