the stillness. the peace and quiet. the calm. the scent of fresh cut firs.
it's taken some time to get used to...i'm used to street noise, the occasional car alarm due to bass thumping down stevens, doorbells, solicitors, and the constant bark of dogs [of course, not my innocent, quiet pups :) ].
now it's the occasional bark. the rain or the wind. but mostly quiet.
i love it.

Oh. My. Gosh. This is so, so beautiful. Maybe I can come vacation at the farm some day. You know that I am a Christmas fanatic, so the idea of living on a Christmas tree farm is like a fantasy to me. I am glad to know that you get to live there!
