the countdown's on...
in just over 30 days, i turn 30...at the 23rd annual relay for life of tacoma. this year's theme is "picture a cure", and we've chosen the theme of "the incredi-bulls" - superheroes in the fight against cancer. there are so many fun fun things that will be coming up for this year's relay - and with michael g at the helm on the mic, it should be an incredible weekend.
we're on our quest to break our team's record from last year ($51,126) - which should place us among the top 30 teams in the nation. in 2006, we were #29.
for my own fundraising, i have some super fabulous prizes that will be drawn from those who donate to me...more to come! but it's safe to say that you might consider making a gift to the american cancer society...you definitely won't regret it.
we're just under $10,000 right now - and the one month blitz begins today. we've got some good competition this year, and i can't wait to see how we do. we're going to celebrate, remember, and fight back!
