so without further adieu, here is my first-ever 12 of 12 post...12 images on the 12th of the month. all from my life, all taken today. welcome to my world. :)
6:50 a.m. - the 36th street hill
i drive down this hill every day to work, ever since some dumb idiot totalled my car on the n. 30th street hill in november 2001. and since it is 6:50 a.m., i am clearly late to work. makes sense that i should be pulling over to shoot the first photo of my 12 of 12.
for the record, lindsay said that she sees this shot as the backdrop for some cheesy inspirational quote picture with a quote like this:
those who persevere will find
inner strength through the light
yup, it sucks.6:53 a.m. - ruston way
shot while driving. this is just before jack hyde park, where i shoot a ton of photo shoots, always near sunset. it's fun seeing the flip side of the clock.
7:03 a.m. - mike's home in "wilsonville"
this is where my brother spends most of his days. heck, all of his days, except for today. he is in iowa. when i went to raid his fridge for diet pepsi, i found it empty, but for one caffeine free diet pepsi. the soda gods were not smiling on me today. wilsonville? named for the way that you can only see everyone's eyes, but not their full faces. home improvement fans are smiling and nodding right now.
12:59 p.m. - the parking garage
dad's sweet new ride - a 2007 toyota highlander. i've started asking to borrow it, and at the rate he's saying no, i'll be able to take the highlander for a spin in 2034.
1:00 p.m. - still in the parking garage
and because the internet is not always the safe and happy place, i photoshopped my plate a bit...even though i only have this plate for another month or so.
1:12 p.m. - my neighbors's house (the brownrices)
rich is building a fence to keep people like me out. i probably would too, if i wasn't me and i knew how to build a fence. he is the best for putting up with me.
1:21 p.m. - my kitchen
wheat thins and crystal light. the prince's fave on the left, and mine on the right.
how sweet is it to get on the elevator and see that team bratrud is having a relay for life auction tomorrow? things like this make me happy.
joanie is happy. i once gave her happy markers to make happy signs. she makes us all happy. and she would say she's happy because god loves her. and she's right. and so do we.
the aforementioned caffeine free diet pepsi, which really isn't like diet pepsi at all. at all.
5:51 p.m. - ruston way, near a old concrete block
look how good lindsay milasich looks. had stella and vickie met down in tacoma instead of seattle on a weekday of tax week, they would have been in this too. :) there were so many i loved of lindsay that she will probably get her own post.

welcome to the group Shelley! too bad Kenny wasn't on the 12th of July...
you're not kidding! :) maybe we'll just need to kidnap him for a few short days...
Great shots! big fan of crystal light too... in fact it's a main component of my favorite trailer coctail:
1 big glass full of ice filled half with lemonade crystal light and half with skyy vokda. Sip till empty, repeat.
I love those first two photos! So pretty :-)
