out at the carlsons last thursday night...kathy's home is the best possible medicine for a diagnosis of "bah humbug"! :) she hosted the relay for life leadership team christmas dinner.
the carlson home was one of the first to be invited to be part of a tour of christmas homes. it takes nearly a month to create the christmas wonderland. from the trains that run among the little town (and past santa's light shop below), to the santa claus cabinet filled with every santa you could envision, to the gorgeous stairs adorned in christmas garland and figurines...it's simply beautiful. words can't describe it.
and in relay tradition, i took the photo of (most of) this year's leadership team - to grace both the covers of the christmas card mailed to the team captains, as well as the front page of the relay for life website. and of course...this is the one place that red and green simply won't do... :)
