happy snowy nights

loved coming home today. my christmas cards arrived via the happy ups man and they were safely inside my house (courtesy of the fabulous brown rices). and they simply rock. i love them.

inspired by this rush of christmas joy, i headed outside into the 30 degree weather to hang my icicle lights. rich, of aforementioned brown rice fame, stopped over upon actually seeing me on a ladder...and we finished getting the lights up just as the first snowflakes began to fall.

sheer heavenly joy, found only this side of the pearly gates.

and yes, as of november 27th, my christmas tree is up and lit, stockings are hung, christmas lights are hung with the wreath on the front door, and it's snowing.

life is good.


and my favorite brown man, michael g, stopped by tonight to nearly finish the calendar layouts for marista's calendar (benefitting michael g's relay for life team). just goes to prove that filipinos don't melt in the snow. :) especially after we had hawaiian food for dinner.

when i asked, "what can brown do for me?" i learned that brown can surprise me with a brand new office chair to replace the one that died! how cool is that?!?
