the end of summer

all the things that remind me that summer is ending...

• giant sunflowers
• changing the scents of my bath and body works wallflowers to sweet cinnamon & pumpkin
• cozying up in my comforter again and viper burrowing
• my lawn begins to turn green again naturally
• the leaves on my big maple in front taunt me every day...they're on their way down, and there's nothing i can do about it
• viper looking forward to the fall doggy line at old navy...she gets cold in the winter
• satsumas return to costco
• i start counting weekends down in 'sunshine weekends'
• and of course...the first rainy forecast in months
