rain, rain, go away!

25 days of rain. Normally, it doesn't bother me, because I know that the rain will subside for a few days, we'll have some amazing sunrises or blue sky days, and then the rain returns.

When there's a cycle, you can live with it. When it's every day, day in and day out, for four weeks, it's a little dreary. And it makes your car a little dirty. No, a lot dirty. Enough so that I can say now, "this model's also available in steel blue", since it's no longer that color. It's "northwest dirt" colored. Eww.

And according to tonight's forecast, there's no end in sight!

This week has flown by - and today was my catch-up day to get prepared for the Relay Rally this weekend in Canada. This morning, I e-mailed up my slides of the tag team mega-workshop on Team Development, this afternoon I redesigned my keynote on Leadership Development, and finally finished the layout and design of the workshop on Goal Setting tonight. Right now, I'm only seeing purple. Relay purple.

There's a great turnout, and everyone was divided into teams for this weekend. The team I'm chose Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer as our team theme (had to be a movie), so we're now the Red-Nosed Misfits. I've gotten to know them a bit through e-mail over the past few weeks, and I'm so excited to put faces to names. I'm the only American, with an Aussie in the bunch...

And in case you're wondering, I found the greatest wig and cap to be Mrs. Claus. And remember, if you think back to My Big Fat Greek Wedding, "the man is the head, but the wife is the neck, and the neck turns the head"...so I'll be sure to tell Santa if you're naughty or nice!

A special thanks to Mikey, who is taking care of Viper this weekend. I'm sure that in his kindness he will burn time that would have been spent in purgatory, but only if he is NICE to my pup, and doesn't "punt her like a football"!
