Finally here. And I slept 11 hours last night.And we have wireless, high speed internet! The best of all worlds...and to make Kris happy, the BlackBerry hasn't left my room since I got here. No electronic leash this week! :)

Thanksgiving 2002. Last time the four of us were here. Dad picked up the Norwalk-like virus (also known as the cruise virus) and shared it with all of us. Terribly generous of him, and I had my two days of hell on Thanksgiving day. No turkey for me. So tonight, we're heading to my favorite beachfront grill, Leilani's, to get my long-overdue Paniolo steak, from three years ago. Cannot wait.
We realized last night that it's been ten years since it's been just the four of us on vacation in Hawaii...without anyone else. Though we've been here half a dozen times in that same span, there's no football, no college classes, no retreats keeping us from being here...and I'd forgotten just how much fun it is to hang with the fam.
And Dad has yet to wear the spandex shirt.
