The first adventure of our girls weekend away...Thursday night was spent bonding over dinner at Stanfords and walking (!) back to the hotel in Lake Oswego.
Friday morning, we were rested and ready for what should be an Olympic sport for us - shopping in tax-free Oregon. After finding some super deals (including what must be my 17th pair of Ralph Lauren sunglasses), we headed up to Mt. Angel to meet David and the rest of the seminarians for evening prayers. Ignoring the fact that we were the only young gals in the whole chapel filled with seminarians, it was a beautiful prayer to be part of. Had a chance to see several guys I went to Italy with, as well as a few more that I knew from when Mike was down there. Once the guys were ready to go, we all headed down the hill to Oktoberfest in the heart of Mt. Angel.
