Autumn in the northwest

Today was a marathon day for Finian Road. I couldn't sleep, so I was up at 2:30 after moving the Wee Ski 1.0 back to his bed and 2.0 to the pack & play. I finished four shoots to ship out Monday morning.

Caught up on NCIS, Person of Interest, and Revenge. All before the boys woke up around 7ish. The day continued with three shoots today with three families that I adore. The first two on the farm - lower fields with a fall look, and up in the sheared tree fields for winter. Then off to Tumwater Falls for the final shoot of the day -- with rich, beautiful autumn backdrops.  Jonathan and Thomas met up with John Paul and me, and we finished the day with dinner in Tumwater.

It's been a long, emotional week for us...and this was the perfect distraction from everything.  Love these sweet displays of God's fine artistry...full of color and warmth and pure northwest beauty.
