Uncle Jerry rolled out the big farm tractor for me, for some shots where Thomas wasn't quite so scared (as he was a bit in Iowa). It's one of the last quiet weeks before travel and fall gets underway.
Our Uncle Jerry is famous for his "not holding the newborns" rule, which he translates to any tiny human under 15 pounds.
It was a big moment when he finally held Thomas...so imagine his surprise when I handed John Paul to him, a few ounces shy of the 'weight limit'.
And this is what they gave me to shoot.
