For the last two weeks, every time a bright red strawberry popped up on the vine, it disappeared as fast as it appeared. Well, most of it anyway. Every berry was still attached at the top to the vine.
And I found the culprit the other night, as I leaned out the sliding glass door.
I saw the Wee Ski 1.0, squatting down next to the strawberry pot. He slowly and methodically took a bite of each big berry, leaving a little still attached.
At least he's eating local.
