The 6th annual Super Fabulous Christmas Tunes mix is complete! I've had it on my playlist for a few weeks now, and I love how it turned out! A good blend of old + new, popular and a bit obscure. I loved the ideas from last year's comments, so you'll find a few of those on here!
And as always, I love new ideas for the mix for the upcoming year...so why not have a win-win? Want to win a copy of the CD?
The Giveaway
You comment with your favorite Christmas song (song + artist, please), and tomorrow night (Friday, December 10), I'll use my favorite random.org selector to give away a copy of the mix to two lucky commenters!
The winners can select this year's edition, or a past year's edition (if you prefer!)...but all comments have to be in by 6 pm, Friday, December 10th! Good luck!

Dance of the Sugarplum Faeries from the Nutcracker ballet:)
Chestnuts Roasting on an open fire.....I love, love, love that song!
I am a big fan of Judy Garland and her version of "Have yourself a merry little Christmas" ... it makes my heart melt just a little bit every time I hear it.
Oh, or "Wonderful Christmas Time" by Paul McCartney if you're going with "newer" music.
Love your little give aways Shelley, especially the Christmas ones :)
Merry Christmas
Abby Ronnebeck
It's a toss up between White Christmas by Bing Crosby and Baby It's Cold Outside by Zooey Deschanel and apron Redbones.
Well our fave right now is any version of the drummer boy cuz Gibson likes singing parumpapumpum. ;)
I love Pachabel's Canon by Manheim Steamroller! Used that song for my wedding (not by Manheim tho :)). But, I also live Last Christmas by Wham (or is it just George?). Gets me singing every time!
Christmas Cannon, Trans Siberian Orch. Love it!
It changes every year, but I'm feeling retro this winter and I choose "Last Christmas"- Wham!
2 Favorites: 1. Last Christmas- Wham! 2. Sleigh Ride- TLC
This year I'm a big fan of Baby It's Cold Outside :). I like the Lady Antebellum version, but the original is always a classic!
N Sync - Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays. It must have been my girls favorite when they were growing up cause it makes me smile!
I love White Christmas - Bing Crosby, makes me cry a little every time I hear it! Also Rockin On Top of the World - Steven Tyler!
Rise Up shepherd and Foller from the 1955 album The Voices of Christmas, the singers are the Voices of Walter Schumann. An oldie, but goodie from my childhood.
I'm obsessed with Ave Maria sung by Il Divo. Love it!!
I'm partial to Baby it's cold outside, The Elf version of course! And Celine Dion's version of Oh Holy Night!
I love Grown Up Christmas List by Amy Grant or Its About the Cross by Go Fish
The Prayer- Celine and Andrea Bocelli
My favorite is Jill Phillips' Labor of Love from the movie The Nativity
"Celebrate Me Home" by Kenny Loggins has become a favorite.
But I think "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" as sung by judy Garland is my fave.
Nice mix of songs!
