It was beautiful - sunshine and heat and the Sound. Thomas had his first adventure rolling around in the grass - which he did not like. It will grow on him. :)
A few glimpses of the day:
The first dog, no wait...our family had Porties before they were trendy. The Mauss fam has always been known as trendsetters. :) Gina took several swims while we were there. I definitely missed not having Viper there - it was the first time in 7 years that I didn't worry about her with the fireworks. The dogs kept smelling around the car, looking for her.
Thomas and Grandma...where she protected him from the dangerous grass that made him cry.

Want to know something scary? Even with portion control - this dinner was more points than I should have in the entire day. But it was good. So good. Steaks wrapped in bacon, baked beans, garlic bread, and mini cheesecakes. And I've got a few weekly points left. :)
Thomas dips his toes in the Puget Sound for the first time. Not quite a fan yet of cold water.
And there was a random swimmed who crawled right past our house, and back again about 10 minutes later. That's what I want to do on holiday. Swim laps. Right.
And my favorite, with Thomas's 4th of July sunhat... ♥
