heather (lily's mom, then known as heather stanger) and i go way back...back to the days of uniforms, free dress days, and brother and sister puppies tuffy and pepper. back then, challenges in life included how to staple your uniform to make your skirt shorter, how to avoid JUG and RASH at st. charles, and how to find a way out of carpool on friday afternoons.

now, heather's a wife and mom of two little ones. i met lily just after she was born and diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. her story is simply amazing. makes you grateful for each day you have.
