The Fireworks on Liberty Bay...
You couldn't have asked for a more beautiful night for fireworks...
The boys handlit the show at Poulsbo from the barge - over 250 shells in the main show, with 6 mid-show volleys, and a great finale at the end. There was a little added excitement after the show ended...the string of shells which didn't shoot during the show ignited with everyone in our group about ten feet away! Anna and Joe (two of Mikey's peer ministers) ventured down from Camp Don Bosco - so we learned all kinds of songs - even about barges and lots with dances...
In contrast, tomorrow's show at Ft. Lewis is over double the size (520+ shells) with 26 volleys, and nearly double the finale...in 3-D! Now, if only the weather will hold out for a beautiful day tomorrow...sunshine to ski with, and a clear sky tomorrow night for the 3-D action...cross your fingers!
