The drive from Iowa back to Illinois was beautiful, but nothing compared to from above...Jonathan took me, Chris and Clint flying - my first time in a little plane!
We flew over Chicago at sunset - saw Oprah's digs and Wrigley Field. It was a clear night, and we got to search for other planes in our airspace - it was a blast! I was way impressed with Jonathan's flying - and would entrust my life to him any day. :) Ended the night at adoration at St. Peter and Paul, and headed out just five hours later to the airport to fly home...couldn't have asked for a better weekend!
