It's hard to believe we have just a month left to the Relay For Life. Nine months of prep so far...all coming together at Mt. Tahoma on May 13th. Seems like everything we've dreamed of is coming to fruition...an amazing growth in teams, all kinds of cool activities (including the hydro and maybe even the Tower of Hope/Light), and the sweetest stage that's ever been constructed - who said you couldn't put it OVER the track?!?
So many people have asked how they can help...especially behind the scenes...so here you go! Get off your pagan behinds and say some prayers for us! :) In my view, these intentions would be among the most important...
- For everyone's health, especially our volunteers who are currently fighting cancer
- For our team captains and teams (3000+ Relayers strong!), that they are focused and fired up in this last month
- For the survivors who will be walking in the Survivors' Lap for the first time
- For those who have lost loved ones in the last year to cancer
- For our incredible Leadership Team who have given of their time, treasure, and talent beyond our wildest expectations
- For our super fabulous staff partner, Ben "That Is Not A Blouse" Layman, in thanksgiving for his willingness to jump right in and get involved
- For the intercession of St. Peregrine over the upcoming month for all the craziness that we're in store for
- For the Planning Team, that they can put up with me for just another few weeks :)
