Love all your photos...I have to laugh....you all (not just you, but a LOT of my friends) kept asking for snow..lots of it...my mind just kept thinking back to Dec. 2008...the year we had to walk 1/2 mile thru 20" of snow from my parents neighbors house just to get to their home on Christmas Day! LUCKILY (more like a MIRACLE) they had power the entire time...but the snow was so bad my folks were stuck at home for over a week on their hill.

Fast forward to a little over a week ago and kept telling all my work buddies, BE CAREFUL what you wish for.... ;)

YEAH for power, heat and WATER!!! It truly is the little things in life!

Such a sweet little catch-up.... Love seeing the boys.......how John Paul has grown!! And, what a perfectly delightful little smiling face he has.

So sorry about Thomas's nightmares. Even as an adult they give me the hee-bee jeebies.... Poor little guy. Praying that all your efforts to tame the dastardly things will work for him.

I went to WWU, and know Mike and Kristine. I've been reading your blog for a while (you're the reason I'm now in love with quinoa!!!). I think you're hilarious, and I love your photographic style. So, anyway, I moved to Maui on Nov. 6th, and while out and about exploring in my first couple weeks here, I saw you and your whole family in Kaanapali. Perhaps even on the way to take this picture! I didn't feel like the middle of the sidewalk was the appropriate time and place to stop and tell you how much I enjoy your blog. I also had this nagging feeling that I would accidentally call your dad BearBear, or something! But I do, very much enjoy your blog, and your outlook on life, etc.

In other news, if you know of any must dos (the plural of "do"), let me know!

Oh, Shelley. This makes me so sad for sweet Maggie and for you as her loving family. I remember when you lost Viper and now with Maggie falling ill I am sure you must be quite sad.
I had a dear doggie named Auggie for 7 years. She developed liver cancer and I had to have her put down once she showed sings of being in pain.
I will pray for you and your sweet family and for Maggie as she prepares to walk over that Rainbow Bridge.
